About Brain Spotting

Brain spotting is when a facilitator locates points in the client’s visual field that helps access points of trauma and emotions in the brain and body. It has been discovered that where you look affects how you feel and it is the brain activity that organizes itself around the eye position. Brain spotting gives access to both the brain and body. The goal is to bypass the conscious thinking processes to get to the deeper more emotional and body-based processes from the sub-cortex part of the brain. In short, brain spotting helps clients access, process, and overcome trauma, negative emotions, and pain in order to receive healing.

Benefits of Brain Spotting

People who experience physical or emotional trauma can benefit from brain spotting. This can be an effective treatment option for those experiencing: Anxiety, a busy brain, anger, chronic pain and fatigue, and impulse control, just to name a few.
