What my life looked like when I was stuck in emoti

What my life looked like when I was stuck in emotional by-passing and the think positive movement.

🧠When I was 30 years old I was emotional by-passing and I did not even know it. I was constantly stuck in mental loops of telling myself to think positive and to put my 'big girl boots on'.

🧠I would not allow myself fully feel emotions and instead would suppress them and ignore them. If there were goals medals awarded for ignoring emotions, I'd be a winner!

🧠It was not until I became chronically unwell with EBV, Lyme disease and a whole heap more that I realized that I was burnout and unfulfilled - yet I still tried to keep going!

🧠I had to change my mentality and seek support through the support of trained professionals who knew how to help me process what I had suppressed for so long and that kept me safe!

Know that you are not alone and emotional-buy passing is actually a thing!
