Have you ever said to yourself WTF IS wrong with me?
You might have said this to yourself when you’ve:
- Been stressed, anxious or overwhelmed
- Felt like you’re in a repeated pattern or cycle
- Been in a place in your life that you don’t want to be, you don’t know how you got there, or you don’t know to get out.
And you might be blaming yourself and your body… and saying… WTF is wrong with me!
Does this sound familiar?
If you have, you’re not alone! I’ve been there too!
I decided to change the story and I invite you too also.
I invite you to change the story to WTF is NOT wrong with me?
Let me explain…
WTF Downward Spiral
WTF is Wrong with me can result in a downward spiral that makes it even harder to get out of. This includes a:
- Downward spiral of thoughts
- Downward spiral of emotions
- Downward spiral of physical symptoms
Is there something wrong with me?
How would you feel if I said… There is actually nothing wrong with you?
Did you know that your body is actually doing everything it can to support you and come back to balance (aka homeostasis)!
It’s possible that your body is shouting at you… asking you to hear the words of wisdom, the lessons and insights it has to offer. Although often we are not able to hear them above the chaos!
What choices can you make?
You can choose how to proceed with WTF thoughts. Everything is an invitation. Some options include:
Panic
Yes, I’ve been there, and I’ve chosen to panic many times! I thought it was an easy choice. Although in the end, it was never rewarding! Consider, now, if this is THE best option for you.
Continue to feed WTF thoughts
YEP! I’ve been here also! What happens if you feed your garden and grass with water and nutrients… it grows. The same can occur with WTF thoughts. If you feed them, they will continue to grow. Is this NOT the best choice to help you feel better!
Go on an exploration
Hmm…This may sound a little farfetched although it is an extremely rewarding experience! So, what I mean by this is to explore the meaning behind WHY you are feeling like this and ask the ‘WTF feeling’ what it’s trying to tell you. Once you understand what it wants and needs, then you can support it. This is often a first step to resolution!
Go deeper and go supported
I’ll be honest with you…I’ve tried to reconsider ‘panic’, to think new thoughts AND to go on an exploration. I tried to go it alone. But I found I wasn’t getting anywhere and fast! In hindsight, I needed professional, trained, personalised and nurtured help and support!
If you feel that this might be you, reach out to a practitioner that resonates with you, to help you resolve this WTF situation you’re finding yourself in … once and for all.
You’re not alone!
These ‘WTF is wrong with me’ thoughts have appeared for a reason. Is it time for you to get to the bottom of them?
